Birthdays & Balloons

I have a lot of family and friends with upcoming birthdays and I'm making cards for everyone! I know people love to get a special card and if you can hand make it I think they love it even more. I know I do!

I've got several ready to get in the mail, but I wanted to show you this really cute one that I made with a hand held balloon punch before I put it in the mailbox!

Wishes & Butterflies

I am crazy infatuated with my butterfly thinlet die set from Stampin' Up! and love to use it every single chance I get! It works in so many different ways to send a variety of special messages. I really like that you can layer in different ways and colors to help these creatures beauty stand out even more. It's so simple to be so beautiful!

Recently I used it on a birthday card and loved how it turned out. I pictured it on this blog along with another card in another post and realized as I looked at the card (sometimes you have to back away to see the big picture!) that it had a little too much going on.

Tea Time and gorgeous Spring days...

I couldn't wait to get back to my crafting table and to all that adorable paper, cute die cuts and amazing stamps!

The sun is shining though and it is just a GORGEOUS day in Alabama! I just had to put on my Nike's and take a walk around the beautiful and peaceful park in my neighborhood first!

Here are a few pictures of my view as I walked. Don't you  agree with me? Gorgeous, right?

Cups & Kettles for Mother's Day!

I am IN LOVE with these tea cups and their dainty beauty on my card! I stacked them up for a cute scene and with the help of some dimensionals they POP off of this page.

Mothers Day is just right around the corner, but there is still time to get these cool tools to make a uniquely exceptional and beautiful card for that special woman in your life. (Click "Read More" to find out what I used to make this adorable card!)

Let Us Celebrate...

I'm so excited about these beautiful butterflies from my "Butterflies" thinlets  die cut set!
They turn out perfect every single time and I'm able to change the colors and layer them or whatever I want to do. I had so much fun making these gorgeous cards today!

I love the intricate detail of the butterflies in this set. They are so lovely and delicate. It makes me want to sit and make butterfly cards all day!

You can't see all of the detail in these pictures, but the butterflies are layered with a second one underneath giving added color and texture.

Beautiful PAPER!

Impatiently and very anxiously I waited for my first delivery from Stampin' Up! My heart nearly skipped a beat as I heard the large delivery truck pull in front of my house!

I was so excited as I tore through the tape and cardboard and began unpacking all the adorable items that I had chosen for my demonstrator kit.

(Yes! You get to choose your own merchandise!)

I couldn't believe how much stuff there was in that box and I just couldn't wait to start designing, playing and having fun. The paper was so beautiful and the cardstock such great quality!  The FREE STUFF were some of my favorites of course!!

Let the Demonstrations BEGIN!!

I have been crafting  for as long as I can remember. I've always loved hand making things; especially cards and scrapbook pages. With family and a career in the past I've been far too busy to do more than my weekend projects. Although I stocked up on craft supplies as if I were starting my own business for years!

With a career in the past due to unforeseen medical issues and more time on my hands I was searching information about a certain project that I was working on.
I came across an exciting YouTube video that gave me some very interesting info. I enjoyed watching the woman on the screen because she seemed to love what she was doing and also to share it with ME! During her video she said that she was an Independent Demonstrator for Stampin' Up! That sounded more interesting than the project information!
